Red poppies, purple salvia and thistles. Part two of the photos I promised in
this post. I initially thought there would be more but these are the ones that survived the selection. They have a bit of a rough and rugged feeling about them and, of course, they are a nice portrait of summer.
The sapling you see on the sky background in the first picture is an apricot tree. Apricot trees are really common here, where I live and the one in this picture is a wild one that I guess grew from a kernel, no one planted it.
